A Little Update

<---- Before from other angle. You can see the end of the island and the empty wall. Opinion..... (I am not a decorator) My floor is kindof darker then I thought it would be, but I do love it. Anyway, I was thinking earlier about staining my cupboards a chocolate and walls like light yellow and accent green. Do you think that chocolate walls with the floor will be too dark? :

So, it's half way done. I'm so excited and can't wait! Our kitchen is going to be so much bigger cuz we took out the island and we are (hopefully, we have to figure out if we can really do what we want to do) going to put it back on the wall that was empty (to the left). Here is a picture of Shaylin in the fridge while we were putting it in the kitchen.

Fun Easter Egg Hunt and Grandma & Grandpa's

The kids got a Wii for Easter. Yes, the are spoiled rotten! They were sad that they didn't get to stay home from church so that they could play. We ended up taking it to grandpa and grandma's afterwards and they got to play it with their cousins.

So Wednesday night when I came home from a viewing I put one of my nylon's on Gavin's head. He loved it and he was so funny. The picture doesn't even do it justice, but had to share.

What a fun day

Clay and I took the kids bowling last night. We just let the kids bowl. Riley has been wanting to go for a really long time, he LOVES bowling and he actually scored a 99. Aubree almost quit playing in the middle of the game because we laughed at her, she bounced the ball off the lane, over the gutter rail, and into the gutter. It was so funny. Gavin...well, we had to bribe him with food so he would finish is game. Gavin actually ended up beating Aubree. I was still lots of fun and the kids had a good time.

Late last night Shaylin was really tired, but not ready to give in. She was being so cute rocking her baby in the chair, but every time she would smile cute she would move when I took the picture. She is a very busy one year old thats for sure.

SPRING BREAK HAS BEGAN

Jordyn and Mykah stayed the night last night. Melissa had to work early and we were watching the kids today. They are busy. The have already played outside, had a snack and are now playing guitar hero. I wish that the weather was a lot better for them to play outside. I hope they have a fun Spring Break. Maybe we will go see Alvin And The Chickmunks tonight.

Ok So this might be a really dumb picture, but I am so EXCITED! My hardwood flooring was delivered today and I didn't even know they were coming. The only bad thing is I have to wait a week for it to be layed.

Poor Jordyn got her thumb smashed in the door last night. It doesn't look good, it won't stop bleeding. It was pretty bad. Melissa is trying to decide what to do about it.

I was finally able to go get my kids pictures done. Sad to say, but this is a first since Shaylin was born. I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do.

Sick And Tired

So, this past week I had Aubree into the doctor 3 out of the 5 days. She is doing lots better, but still isn't 100%. Hopefully she can go to school Monday. I actually thought that we were going to get rid of the bugs. I WAS WRONG!!! Gavin and Shaylin started running fevers today. I AM SO TIRED OF THIS!!! We have honestly been sick the whole month of February.
