Yesterday and Today was Parent Teacher Conf. First 9 weeks over!
Riley is in 4th. 4TH grade has been a little bit of a challenge for Riley. There is a lot more responsibility that I'm not sure he is ready for. I think he thinks that he is good enough and doesn't need to study. I'm not sure. Riley is an excellent student, he just needs to put a little more effort into it. We were happy with Riley's grades. He got A's and 2-B+. We know that he can do better if he tried a little harder. He is a good kids and a great example to his brother and sisters. We love you Riley.

AUBEE DAUBEE

Aubree in 3rd. Aubree is doing really well. She has had a little bit of a tough time with reading, but she is doing a lot better now. Aubree got straight A's. Her teacher really enjoys having her in her class. We are proud!
Aubree is on the dance comp team again and loves it. She works so hard every week to learn her dances. She is a great help to me with Ella. She loves to take care of her any time I ask. Aubree has her dad wrapped around her finger. The love to cuddle and bond.

GAVIN IN K

Gavin's 1st Day of Kindergarden. He is doing so well in school. He is doing better then Riley and Aubree ever did. I hate to compare, but I think I am really surprised that he is doing as good as he is. I knew he was reading a lot better. He just seems to get it. I could say that it's because he is older, but we held Riley back from the very beginning and so Riley would have been older then Gavin at this time.
Gavin scored all 4's. This is above average. ALL 4's, NO 3's wich is average. Teacher said he is focused and gets his work done. I am jus so happy! We are blessed to have such good kids. GREAT JOB GAV!

Gavin has been playing baskett ball. He loves it! He is doing amazing. He just gets it. Maybe he will be our sports star. The second game he played he made like 3 baskets and like 5 assists. So fun to watch him play.

POOPERS

Ella is now 9 months and I can't believe it. She is growing so fast. Clay & I think she is our busiest kids yet. She is so active and just go go go. She loves to jump and stand up on everything. She gets on her knees and bounces. Yesterday she fell backwards and hit her head on the floor (again) because she was up on her knees dancing. She loves her brothers and sisters. She is so happy to see her daddy come home. Her big smiles are the best. She is such a happy little girl. We love her so much, she has been such a joy in our family. She is starting to eat a little more regular foods like crackers and bread. She even had her first french fry the other day. She is still eating her baby food. She likes carrots and squash and all fruits. She will still eat the baby cereal, but not much at one time. She does get tired of it. Ella is still in her infant car seat. I do need to change her over, but we think that she is smaller then our other kids this age. Ella also likes to "talk" . She has been yelling or making a high pitch little scream and this is how she talks. She only does it when she is happy. ha ha P.S. I didn't know what to Title this. Clay has always called her poopers because every single time he would hold her and feed her the bottle when she was littler she would poop. If I ever thought she needed to poop I would just give her to him and she would. Yes, she does need a new nick name we just haven't figured it out yet.

OUR SHAY SHAY

A few updated pics. Shaylin loves her baby sister Ella. She is such a princess. She loves to be cuddled. Loves watching t.v. (a little too much) and princess movies. She loves to dress up and play barbi's. She is always saying "I love you mom". She is such a joy in our home. She likes to dance and shake her booty. She likes to be a goof and make others laugh. She likes to pose for pictures if you can't tell.

Ella's 1st Tooth

Ella started getting a runny nose and acting like she wasn't feeling good. Next thing I notice, SHE IS TEETHING! Bottom left tooth is poked through the skin. She won't let you see it very well. She sticks her tongue out when you pull her lip to look. :D

Ella is 5 months

Ella had a check up today. She is doing great. She weighed 13 pounds 4 ounces today and she was 24 inches. She is such a joy to have in our family.

Ella Eats Her Cereal For The First Time

Today Ella is about 4 1/2 months. It seems a little bit early to me, but Ella had her first taste of Rice Cereal today. She loved it! The reason I let her try it was because she has been looking at our food for about the past month now. She was so wanting some of my popcorn today. She was in a really good mood in her speed racer, so I decided to let her try it since I had bought her some cereal last week. Guess I will have to start feeding her cereal every now and then. She is getting to big too fast. Hope I can get pictures posted soon.

FEBRUARY 2010

~Shaylin's 3rd Birthday~
She got lots more Barbie stuff, an outfit from Grandma & Grandpa Stephens, Table & Chairs from Grandma & Grandpa Hodge, a couple pj's from mom and dad and Barbie dress up from Grandma & Grandpa Woodward.

~Ear Piercings~

Aubree before and after getting her ears pierced. She was so excited. I love the picture of her where you can totally tell she was SCARED!!! LOL

Everyone got to go to Pizza Hut after the basketball game. Mean while I stayed home with Baby Ella. The perks of being a mommy. :)

Just A Little Up Date

Boy has our life been so crazy since Ella was born, aside from the fact of having a new born. Going to the Dr pretty much every week at least once if not 2 or 3 times.
Ella had been going to Dr for check ups. She wasn't gaining weight and the dr was just keeping an eye on her.

Shaylin has been on medication since November I think it was for bladder infections that will not go away. She was finally off the med and I took her to the clinic for being sick and found out it was a bladder infection AGAIN. Needless to say she is STILL on medication and she hates it like no other. We have to force her (which I hate) to take it and she gags on it every time.

Riley and Aubree were both in the dr office during Presidents Day weekend (I think it was) with Pneumonia.

Ella ended up in the hospital for 1 week really sick with Pneumonia, so they thought. It ended up being RSV. We are blessed that she is doing well now.

Aubree has been in the dr now 3 different times and has to still go back. We are finally trying to get her wart's frozen off. I hope it works some time really soon.

Gavin just got his tonsils out today and isn't doing the best right now. I feel so sorry for him and hope he gets better soon.

Ella is now 2 months old and has to get shots on thursday.

We are so blessed and thankful for everyone who has helped us through these times.

THANK YOU!!! We love and appriciate you all. Words can't explain.

I hope that at some point I can get pictures posted. With all this going on we have had three birthdays and I would love to share that with you all.

We are so proud! We have a healthy BABY GIRL!
So, she didn't make it to February like mom wanted her too, but she is still the same sign as Clay and the girls and her birthday is the 28th just like Riley. :)
